The CU Purlin Roll Forming Machine is used to manufacture high-strength C and U purlins for structural support in buildings. Follow these step-by-step instructions to ensure safe operation, high-quality output, and machine longevity.
1. Setup & Preparation
Machine Inspection – Check all rollers, fasteners, cutting blades, and electrical connections. Ensure the machine is free of obstructions and properly aligned.
Power & Safety Check – Connect to the correct power supply and verify that emergency stop buttons and safety guards are functional.
Material Loading – Place the steel coil (galvanized, mild steel, or stainless steel) onto the decoiler. Adjust the feeding guides to ensure smooth and centered entry.
Material Feeding – Carefully feed the steel strip into the machine, ensuring proper alignment to avoid deformation.
Parameter Setup – Use the control panel to select the desired purlin type (C or U), set dimensions (width, height, thickness), and adjust hole punching settings if required.
Roll Forming Process – Press Start, and the rollers will gradually shape the material into the specified purlin profile. Monitor the alignment and adjust if needed.
Cutting Mechanism – The hydraulic or mechanical cutter will automatically cut the purlins to the programmed length. Ensure clean and precise cuts.
Quality Inspection – Check the purlins for correct dimensions, smooth edges, and structural integrity.
Proper Shutdown – Turn off the machine, disconnect power, and clean the area to remove any metal debris.
Routine Maintenance – Lubricate moving parts, inspect rollers and cutting blades for wear, and ensure all electrical systems are functioning properly.
By following these steps, you can ensure efficient production, high-quality CU purlins, and long-term machine performance.
