The C Purlin Roll Forming Machine is designed to produce high-strength C-shaped purlins used for structural support in roofing and wall systems. Follow these step-by-step instructions for safe operation, precise output, and long-term machine efficiency.
1. Setup & Preparation
Machine Inspection – Check rollers, fasteners, cutting blades, and the electrical system to ensure everything is secure and properly aligned.
Power & Safety Check – Connect the machine to the correct power source and verify that emergency stop buttons and safety guards are operational.
Material Loading – Place the steel coil (galvanized, mild steel, or stainless steel) onto the decoiler. Adjust feeding guides to ensure smooth and centered material entry.
Material Feeding – Gradually feed the steel strip into the rollers, ensuring proper alignment to prevent material deformation.
Parameter Setup – Use the control panel to set purlin dimensions, such as width, height, and thickness. Configure hole punching settings if required.
Roll Forming Process – Press Start, and the machine will gradually shape the material into a C purlin profile. Monitor the process to ensure smooth operation.
Cutting & Punching – The hydraulic or mechanical cutter will automatically cut the purlins to the programmed length. If punching is needed, ensure the settings match the required hole placement.
Quality Inspection – Check the finished purlins for dimensional accuracy, smooth edges, and correct hole placements.
Proper Shutdown – Turn off the machine, disconnect power, and clean any metal debris from the rollers and cutting area.
Routine Maintenance – Lubricate moving parts, inspect rollers and cutting blades for wear, and check electrical connections regularly for consistent performance.
By following these steps, you can ensure efficient production, high-quality C purlins, and long-lasting machine performance.
